Before starting:
You need to have a stable internet connection and a device that can record a video stream at least in 720p. Human skeleton detection can work on lower resolution as well, but the possibility of errors are exponentially increasing on a low resolution.
In case if you are the health service provider, you have to deploy and run AI models. Different AI models have various system requirements. For a real-time evaluation a common desktop computer with GPU support is enough. The minimum system requirements of OpenGL based AI models is usually Android 5.0 (API level 21) and higher or OpenGL 3.1 supported GPU.
Deploying:
- Download the latest WAR file version from here.
- Login to your Ant Media Server management account
- Click “Add New Application” button on the management screen
- Select the “Choose File” and browse to the file you downloaded in step 1
- Select the file and click the “Upload” button
- Add a name to the application, e.g. medicant
- Click the “Create” button
Using:
- Open your medicant application at “https:// <your_AMS_url> /<application_name>”
- Select Call or Join
- According to your selection follow the steps shown on the screen

Remember, you never give any personal or sensitive health information for anyone who is not an authorized person and who you are not familiar with. The fact that someone installed medicant as a doctor doesn’t necessarily mean the person authorized to act as a healthcare provider.
This application is not a medical application. It is built to help people (for example doctors and patients) to get connected easily anywhere with low latency and the ability to use AI models. It is designed to support, not replace the relationship that already exists between people via personal visit.
