How it works
We offer a scalability option on our monthly subscription plans that allow customers to scale their subscription up or down on an hourly basis.
With this new feature, you will have the ability to increase your subscription during high-traffic periods and decrease it during low-traffic periods, without having to commit to a long-term contract. This will allow you to pay only for the resources you need, and avoid over-paying for unused resources.
We understand that every business is different and has different needs, and we believe that this new scalability option will give you the flexibility and control you need to make the most of our media server solution.
How it will be calculated
The additional usage will be calculated and charged based on the hourly rate that you have set for the scalability option. Your single monthly subscription license usage is counted as 750 hours in total and additional usage on top of 750 hours will be counted and charged every month in addition to your monthly subscription fee.
Some of the examples are given below to provide clear explanations
Example 1: 2 additional servers to your single monthly subscription are spun off for 30 hours. At your renewal date, you will pay Monthly Subscription Fee, plus a 30 x hourly fee ($0.24) as a renewal fee.
Example 2: 3 additional servers to your monthly subscription are spun off for 1020 hours. At your renewal date, you will pay Monthly Subscription Fee, plus a 1000 x hourly fee ($0.24) + 20 x hourly fee ($0.19) as a renewal fee.
Example 3: 8 additional servers to your monthly subscription are spun off for 5550 hours. At your renewal date, you will pay Monthly Subscription Fee, plus a 1000 x hourly fee ($0.24) + 4000 x hourly fee ($0.19) + 550 x hourly fee ($0.15) s a renewal fee
